• Long-time leaders Porsche drop to second following huge swing at Bathurst
• Fanatec GT Manufacturer Ranking Standings
Mercedes-AMG is back on top of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS Manufacturer Ranking following the penultimate event of the season at Bathurst.
134 points separated it from Porsche before Fanatec GT Australia’s finale where the lack of 911 GT3 Rs cost Stuttgart dear. Indeed, the manufacturer scored just 20 points compared to Mercedes-AMG’s 581 across both one-hour races.
Mercedes-AMG has won every Fanatec GT World Challenge Powered by AWS global title since it was introduced in 2019 and is now in prime position to maintain that streak heading into Europe’s season finale at Jeddah on November 28-30.
However, its advantage is not insurmountable: Porsche scored 560 points more at the Nurburgring earlier this year.
Third place also remains up for grabs after Audi and Ferrari both scored well at Bathurst. They’re separated by 597 with one six-hour endurance race remaining.
